Demons--Imagine Dragons

When the days are cold, And the cards all fold
And the saints we see, Are all made of gold

When your dreams all fail, And the ones we hail
Are the worst of all, And the blood’s run stale

I wanna hide the truth, I wanna shelter you
But with the beast inside, There’s nowhere we can hide

No matter what we breed, We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come, This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat, Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close, It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

Curtain’s call, Is the last of all
When the lights fade out, All the sinners crawl

So they dug your grave, And the masquerade
Will come calling out, At the mess you've made

Don't wanna let you down, But I am hell bound
Though this is all for you, Don't wanna hide the truth

No matter what we breed, We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come, This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat, Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close, It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

They say it's what you make, I say it's up to fate
It's woven in my soul, I need to let you go

Your eyes, they shine so bright, I wanna save that light
I can't escape this now, Unless you show me how

When you feel my heat, Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close, It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

Waiting for Superman--Daughtry

She’s watching the taxi driver, he pulls away
She’s been locked up inside her apartment a hundred days

She says, “Yeah, he’s still coming, just a little bit late
He got stuck at the laundromat washing his cape”
She’s just watching the clouds roll by
And they spell her name like Lois Lane
And she smiles, oh the way she smiles

She’s talking to angels, counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She’s dancing with strangers, falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, In his arms
Waiting for Superman

She’s out on the corner trying to catch a glimpse
Nothing’s making sense
She’s been chasing an answer
A sign lost in the abyss, this Metropolis

She says...Yeah, he’s still coming, just a little bit late
He got stuck at the Five and Dime saving the day”
She says...If life was a movie, then it wouldn’t end like this
Left without a kiss
Still, she smiles, the way she smiles, yeah

She’s talking to angels, she’s counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She’s dancing with strangers, she’s falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, In his arms
She’s waiting for Superman

To lift her up and take her anywhere
Show her love and climbing through the air
Save her now before it’s too late tonight
Oh, like a speeding light
She's waiting for Superman
